Palas in the future

For 13 years now, Palas has been synonymous with reinvention, development, and innovation. This is the touchstone for urban regeneration in Romania and the spectacular evolution of Iași.
However, there is always room for growth. And we are not stopping here. Palas is entering a new stage of evolution, designed for the present and the future.
We continue to develop Palas complex and with it, the city as well.
Together with the notorious architecture firm Foster + Partners we are kickstarting an extensive project for the development and revamping of the Palas mixed-use complex, a project that will be implemented in stages and will include as follows:
  • remodeling the existing retail spaces and expanding the total leasable retail area upwards of 80,000 sqm

  • remodeling the frontal esplanade of the “Luceafărul” Theater for Children and Young People

  • new first-to-region fashion, beauty, sports, and department store brands

  • implementing flagship store formats for the main anchor stores

  • new playground areas and family entertainment centers

  • more spaces designed for various events and experiences

  • an expansion of the park, with interactive and relaxation areas

  • relocating and upgrading the events center

  • showcasing the connection with the Palace of Culture through green, sustainable and esthetically pleasing design
